List your VPS on VPSchart

Free, in every tier. Give readers something concrete (a backlink, a badge, a discount, or a live status feed) and we give you better placement in return. No paid slots, no invoice, no upsell call.

Why list your VPS on VPSchart?

Four reasons a hosting founder or partnerships lead usually cites when they pick us over the paid directories.

  • Independent, editorial directory. Vendors are indexed and compared by our team, not by ad-buys. Our editorial methodology is published on the Methodology page.
  • Broad vendor coverage. We currently list dozens of VPS, cloud, GPU, and managed providers across seven categories, and we add new ones every week.
  • Real reader traffic. Monthly organic sessions in the tens of thousands, weighted toward founders and engineers actively comparing providers.
  • Fast time-to-live. Minutes, not months. Complete submissions with clean data are approved in one to three business days.
  • Free with backlink. Every tier is $0. Enterprise providers whose compliance rules block outbound links can use our affiliate-alternative and still list at Basic tier.

How is VPSchart different from HostAdvice, WHTop, G2, and Capterra?

How it works

Four steps, most of them automatic. The wizard does the heavy lifting; you edit anything that looks wrong.

  1. 01

    Upload your pricing

PDF, spreadsheet, CSV, or a link to a public pricing page. Whatever you already have.

  2. 02

    Chip reads it

Our extractor pulls out plans, prices, specs and locations. You edit anything that looks off.

  3. 03

    Verify backlink + domain

Prove the domain is yours and that the backlink is live. Both checks are automatic.

  4. 04

    Live within three business days

An editor reviews the extraction, cross-checks the plans, and pushes your listing live.

Start your listing

Six short steps. About three to five minutes. Free at every tier.

  1. 1. Tier
  2. 2. Vendor
  3. 3. Upload
  4. 4. Review
  5. 5. Verify
  6. 6. Submit

Pick a tier to aim for

All four are free. You can start at Basic and upgrade later; the wizard just walks you through the requirements for the tier you pick.

Frequently asked

How long does approval take?

Three business days is typical. Complete submissions with a working backlink and clean pricing data usually clear on the same day.

Do I have to add a backlink?

No. Vendors with a public affiliate program can list at Basic tier by joining our affiliate flow instead. Pick "I have a public affiliate program" on the verification step and provide the signup URL and contact email. The compliance rules some enterprise providers have around outbound links are exactly why we accept the affiliate alternative.

What if we do not have a backlink yet?

You can still start the wizard. Chip will show you the exact snippet to embed, and you can finish the backlink step at any time. Your listing goes live once we verify the link is present.

Can we upgrade tiers later?

Yes. Once your Basic listing is live, add the badge for Enhanced, add a discount code for Featured, or wire in a live status endpoint for Editor's Pick. Each upgrade takes effect after we re-verify.

What if our pricing changes?

Email [email protected] with the new sheet, or re-submit through the wizard. Editor's Pick vendors update automatically via their live API, so pricing never goes stale.

How is this different from paying for placement?

We do not sell placement, at any tier. Higher placement is earned by giving readers something concrete: a backlink, a badge, a discount, or live data. Money does not skip the queue.

Do you accept every vendor?

No. We reject listings that misrepresent pricing, offer no support channel, or have a track record of blocked chargebacks. Editorial standards apply to every tier.

What happens if our backlink comes down later?

Chip re-verifies the backlink monthly. If it disappears, your listing is paused and we email you. Restore the link and it goes back live automatically.

Do you require affiliate participation?

No. Affiliate deals are a separate conversation. Listings do not depend on whether you run an affiliate program at all.

How does VPSchart's AI extraction work?

Chip runs on Cloudflare Workers AI using a Llama-3.1 model. Every extracted field carries a confidence score; anything below 70 percent is flagged in yellow for the vendor to correct on a split-screen editor. A human editor then cross-checks the plan grid against your public pricing page before the listing goes live: full human-in-the-loop verification, not a black-box publish.
